The Center for Post-colonial Knowledge and Culture (CPKC) is an independent organization for critical research and cultural production in the field of postcolonial and visual cultural studies. CPKC is a initiative by TRANSIT MIGRATION, supporting organization is the association transit e.V. with seat in Berlin.

Goals of the Center for Post-colonial Knowledge and Culture (CPKC) are: The development of scientific and cultural events and projects in relation to questions of migration and post-colonialism (in media, politics and culture); the initiation of transdisciplinary and transnational research partnerships within which scientific, cultural and artistic practices and producers are interconnected; the publication and mediation of transdisciplinary research and the development of new formats and methods of knowledge transfer; the co-operation with universities and academies, as well as cultural institutions and projects.
